Somehow, I came to know about a youtube channel dedicated to finger picking style: “Six String Fingerpicking”. I was excited to know about the tutorials and videos he will be posting on the channel, and I checked the playlists. There, he has a beginner playlist and first song in that is this “Time of Your Life” by Greenday.
In fact, this also connected me in a different way. American Idiot by Greenday was the first western song that I heard and loved during my childhood days. I saw the tutorial video and it was easy to start. I then practiced it for a while, and finally got it.
In the mean time, I was exploring a fingerpicking style of my own. And it sounded great to me. So, I created a tune of it with the same chords from the tutorial. Here, I have uploaded both the Time of Your Life and my own composition. This is my first own composition. Many more to come!.
