This is an evening ride that I suddenly planned after coming to know about a nearby view point. A ride log was posted by one of the riders in the Cyclotrivians group, and I was attracted by the cover image he has put. I asked that rider about this location, and it happens to be a very closeby place called Irumban view point, which is about 10 km away from me.

I cannot stay idle after coming to know about this place, moreover I didn’t go for a morning ride today. So, I charted the evening ride to this place. Also, Robin told that the view is amazing in the evening time. It was raining also. I cannot miss this chance.

I left the campus by around 5pm and reached there close to 5:30. The view was amazing, as if it was a smaller version of Ponmudi. I was covered by fog, can see the clouds moving beneath me, I can’t believe that such places were hiding from me for these many days!

I stayed there for about fifteen minutes and left. Came to campus about 6:30, and gone back to routine. This route could be a morning route for me, except there are a couple of high gradient climbs that could eat my chain so fast.

Below are the pics and videos I took on this ride.

Below is the Strava log of this ride.
