This ride is made to see the sunset at a nearby hill top called Thirichittipara, which is about 10 kilometers away from IIST.
I was accompanied by Aditya for this ride and we started by around 5:30PM from the institution. The starting time originally planned was around 3:30PM so that we can see the full sunset. But, due to other works, the start time was delayed.
Despite the delayed start, we were able to see the sunset view right on time. The sunset was not clear due to the clouds, but the view on the hill top by that time was amazing.
By far, I got two spots for destressing. One is Chittipara, which is about 15 kilometers away, and the other is this one. This hilltop was easy to climb, there were steps and neighbors were also friendly. Probably, the elevation is lower than the other hill I think.
There was a small pond on the hill top. We sat there for a while, and left around 6:45 PM before it gets too dark to climb down. It was an amazing experience, and a good place to come with people who are close to us.
