This is my first ride on the new Schnell Crew 700c companion. The target was a bed dam in Kaikilampakam, Puducherry. The views shown below is what pulled me towards it.
It is about 10 Kilometers from my home, and I reached there in about 30 minutes. But, it was a bad time I went. The water flow was insufficient to get the scenery shown in above video. The below pics and video show the view I got when I reached there.
The small pathway seen in above Figure 2 will be filled with water to the brim where we can walk across the river. The river is a merge of Malattar and Pambai rivers. But, I missed the joy by going there at wrong time. However, the path is known now and I can go there anytime when I am in Puducherry.
I moved further past the dam and continued enjoying beautiful agricultural lands on the way to reach Madagadipet, which is a place on the highway between Villupuram and Puducherry. Then, caught the high way and moved towards Puducherry. There were 3 medium elevated flyovers on the way and they were ease to my effort.
I took two rest stops. One on the bed dam lasted 6 minutes as it took some time to check the place out. And the other is near the 3/4th of the ride at a place called Villiyanur which lasted some 3 minutes. Then the ride was brought to an end by reaching back home.
The ride lasted a total of 2 hours and 16 minutes covering 47 kms with average speed of around 20 km/h.
